About OUR WORKSHOPs:

KIDS CLUB:

Kids aged between 2-12 years will love attending this workshop.  All done on location it’s filled with fun facts and games to play while learning how to look after a camera, how it works and tips on taking great photos.  All children attending will receive notes, snack & drink, a FotoFun4Kids Club membership card & attendance certificate.  They will automatically become a member of the club at no cost to you.  They will receive monthly newsletters with fun crafts and tips for photos and they will be able to enter out fun photo competitions with grat prizes and certificates.  To maintain memberhips kid will need to attend atleast 2 workshops per year.  That’s it! They will also receive discounts and FREE mini photo shoot and photo for there birthday.

Cost: $20 per child (10 kids or over in a class) $40 per child (5-9 kids in a class)

NEXT CLASS DATE: SATURDAY 05/02/2011 - 10:30am to 12:30pm at Wellington Point. $20 each

 

TEENAGERS TO ADULTS CAMERA WORKSHOPS:

 

The following workshops are aimed for ages 12 & up.  All children under the age of 18 will automatically become a FotoFun Club member.

All workshops may be booked at a one on one session ($15.00 surcharge applies or as a group booking (No surcharge).  Feel free to get your friends together for a fun day of learning and experimenting with there compact cameras.  Learn basic camera skills to to take great photos of your family.  VIP cards may be used and 5% discount will apply for group bookings of 3 people or more.

 

BASIC DIGITAL COMPACT WORKSHOP

 

This workshop is aimed at parents with point & shoot digital compact cameras.  Feel free to bring your child along as your subject.  This workshop covers the basic features of your camera plus tips and techniques using lighting and framing of your subject to help take better pictures of your family.

Cost: $85 per person. (2 hours)

 

BASIC SLR CAMERA WORKSHOP

 

This workshop has been designed to help parents get the most from the automatic settings on there SLR digital camera.  This workshop also covers how your camera works, tips and techniques using lighting and framing of your subject to help take better pictures.

Cost: $85 per person (2 hours)

 

BEGINNERS: FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOP

 

This workshop is aimed at the more serious amateur who wants to learn more about the manual functions of there SLR digital camera.  This workshop covers methods of controlling light, Shutter, aperture & ISO plus a basic overview on reading your built in light meter.  You must attend the BASIC SLR Camera Workshop before enrolling into this class.

Cost: $115 per person (3 hours)

 

BEGINNERS: ADVANCED FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOP

 

This workshop is aimed at beginner amateurs who are comfortable using the manual functions of shutter speed, aperture & ISO settings on there digital SLR.  Both the Basic SLR Camera & Beginners: Fundamentals Workshops must be attended before enrolling.  This workshop covers using a light meter, Depth of Field, White Balance & more advance framing techniques.

Cost: $145 per person (3 hours)

 

NIGHT LIGHTS WORKSHOP

 

This workshop is aimed at amateurs who are comfortable using the manual functions of shutter speed, aperture & ISO settings on there digital SLR.  Beginners: Advanced Fundamentals Workshop must have been attended to enrol in this workshop.  During this workshop we will meet in the city (at the Kookaburra Queen dock) at approx 5pm.  We will then overview how to set up your white balance, framing of landscapes, selection of your aperture & shutter speeds for night photography.  Upon sunset we will set up our cameras & begin our photography.  You will require a tri-pod and external shutter cord or be sufficient in setting up your shutter delay timer.

Cost: $185 per person (approx 3 - 4 hours)
